Look around. See the beauty.
We are all together on this beautiful blue planet spinning round a golden star on the far reaches of the Milky Way. Every raindrop contains a billion organisms and billions and billions of little worlds. Every grain of sand shines with a vibrancy; a life-force that unites all and everything. Science tells us that creation began with a big bang and will end with an implosion back into nothingness. The cosmos, it seems, is like a giant blossoming lotus stretching out its petals to the sunrise and then closing them up at sunset. During that expression, billions of years, billions of life-times zoom by as we all blossom awake and then close to slumber in harmony.
Yet, so many of us don't feel part of that harmony. Instead of flowing, expanding, contracting with the universe we fight it. We seek our place of peace separate from the world. We look for our own safe place under an eternal sun and imagine that it must be apart from what we now see and experience. Yet at some level we know we cannot find the eternal light until we embrace all of creation and particularly our own eternal component, our soul or spirit.
So we become seekers. We seek truth, we seek understanding; we seek knowledge, we seek world peace. We work towards the end of hunger and want, we strive to achieve political or social understanding; we are seeking so many separate goals. Yet, if you look closely you will see we are all on the same road heading towards that same destination. We are all on a quest for inner peace, harmony, completeness and safety. We seek a place free of the constant, change and flux of the universe. We seek a place where eternity, stillness and peace abide forever.
Some seekers find their place of rest through what might be termed as "conventional" dictates of our particular tribe. Others embrace the belief that with knowledge and research they will eventually discover their inner goal. Then of course, there are those who seek a spiritual signpost. Whether we chose a conventional spiritual "church" or one of the "new age" disciplines, again our goal is the same.
It is only when these pathways fail to deliver us to that destination we search for something deeper. Perhaps we turn to different spirituality and join a spiritual group. Or we may learn spiritual "skills" such as healing or counseling.
But there are other seekers.
There are those who have walked the "spiritual" path often for many years, only to find that there an intangible something missing. They may have discovered those they once "rescued" have again fallen victim to other circumstances. They see now that those they "taught" were learning their own lessons, and those who were "healed" have again returned old unhealthy patterns. These seekers understand that they needed to be detached from the outcome, but know there is another call. A call that both attracts and frightens them.
Slowly they are realising the ancient truth of being-ness. It is a gentle dawn. It is a soft golden light that awakens within the knowledge that it is no longer what they "do" in this world, so much as what they are. These seekers are beginning to feel that there is a higher mission, one of light, one of luminosity, yet they may find are uncertain of how to express this energy............. These are the Light Workers.
Light Workers are those souls, whose primary focus and life purpose is to allow themselves to be wholly and completely Divinely Guided. The Light Worker's role is to become part of the lighthouse of God/Great Spirit. To shine the light and love of divinity and to thereby illuminate the pathway home for all. These Workers realise it doesn't matter what you do on the Earth, but what energy and light you shine whilst doing it. The role is to live, display and extend the energy of the awakened consciousness and actively become that expected Christ Consciousness. Any attachment to doing the "right job" or to having the "right" relationship disappears. The new experience is that everywhere is the right place, every relationship is already sacred, and every job from the menial to the powerful, has the same value.
If you feel this resonation in your heart, know that now is the time to give up what is often referred to as the "reluctant Soul syndrome." Embrace your life with passion and honour. Actively remember that your very existence is sacred. All you need to do is to commit to the path of light and offer just a little willingness, the rest will be supplied.
This honest and sincere prayer to be guided only by the light sets into motion all kinds of things that support you. You may have learned to see Creation as alien, mechanical, and separate from you. Now it will begin to conspire, that is, breathe with you, in support of this transformation!
Ask yourself if there is a journey more worthwhile? Ask yourself if this resonates.
Now go deep inside your heart and your soul. Seek out that call. Face it and breathe it in. If it feels "right." You are a Light Worker, (perhaps with L-plates on) it is now time to learn and understand what the "work" part of "Light Worker" is all about. This book is a written guide for those who feel this calling.
